Illustration Friday STRENGTH

This is my entry for Illustration Friday's challenge. Your comments are appreciated.

I've done this powerful arm with traditional art decó- classic-Russian posters in mind, but the result is more like a punk image...
I think it looks like more powerful than strength. But if you can wait a minute, I'll post a new one.
(It's done! you can see it just below)

Art deco was my first impression. this is fantastic.

Well...both are very good and very different. I agree that the hand is more power than strength, but the bottom illustration most certainly shows strength. Both show your strength as an artist..versatile and masterful. Thanks for the double treat:>

Reminds me of the artwork on Ayn Rand books. It's very powerful. Literally.

I like this piece, bold colours and composition. The second work is good too, though so different in style.

I like the art deco one more than the second one. The second is well done, but the first one seems to be more creative.

I like the arm--great style. It reminds of the covers of some Ayn Rand books.

¡¡ Hola !!

A mí me gusta más esta, tiene una "fuerza" que no tiene la otra.
La porcelana en la Revolución tambien tenía esta estética y en porcelana choca mucho. La acuarela ¿es digital??? Creo que no he entendido algo....

Hola otra vez!
Me has dejado de piedra con la acuarela, no sabía que se podía hacer eso ... ¡con un ordenador! Tengo mucho que aprender. Gracias por la información.

This is cool. I think you've captured the deco style with a more modern twist. Nice.

My initial reaction WAS art deco. This is very cool. It would make nice wall art. It would actually look good in my kitchen ;) I do enjoy the use of colour here. Nice work!

Great graphical style! I really like the way you executed the painting. Great format too. You really captured the style of the Russian posters.
