Illustration Friday FRESH

This is my entry for Illustration Friday's challenge. Your comments are appreciated.

Can you imagine something fresher than a penguin in the South pole, looking how the snow falls?

Moleskine vs. Wacom

Today I've bought my first MOLESKINE sketchbook (the legendary notebook of Hemingway, Picasso, Chatwin.) It's like the Rolls Royce of the notebooks! You can buy one here or here. It's some kind of bohemian thing and very cool.
You can see Her in the image over (of course!) the Wacom tablet... Two ways of thinking, but no so far. Now, my Moleskine is empty-virgin, but tonight I'll start sketching!!!

I prefer sketching with classic paper-and-pencil. I love the sound of pencil scratching the paper. But inking... sometimes I make it in a digital medium (flash or illustrator) time is time, and here comes the wacom. And coloring.... Blessed Photoshop!
Only one reason: Ctrl+Z

Illustration Friday ESCAPE

This is my entry for Illustration Friday's challenge. Your comments are appreciated.
This topic reminds me the good old times, playing with my spectrum... Do you remember that game?
"the great escape"
A lot of afternoons in front of a monitor (no more than 12 colors) and those amazing cassettes...

24 Faces more

Another good exercise is chose 4 or 5 characters and try to "cartoonize" them . Keep it simple!

33 Faces

I've recently read on a interest concept.
ART GYM, mentioned by Mike Manley (in a great interview to Steve Rude) in Draw magazine #11.
It's like a routine, something you can do everyday to improve your skills, or before your fight with the white paper..(some kind of warming exercises)
I sometimes do something like that. Pick a newspaper or mag, look at your watch, and draw (in a crazy-speed way) all the faces you can find in the next 15 minutes.

Hola a todos, Hello!
Welcome to my new all-kind-of-drawing blog!
Thanks for the visit! I hope you enjoy it!
Please feel free to comment my work.

This is my first drawing! It's a mini-personal project, it will show the horoscope with simple people illustrating the sign to which they belong... Here it goes Libra.
