Moleskine vs. Wacom
Today I've bought my first MOLESKINE sketchbook (the legendary notebook of Hemingway, Picasso, Chatwin.) It's like the Rolls Royce of the notebooks! You can buy one here or here. It's some kind of bohemian thing and very cool.
You can see Her in the image over (of course!) the Wacom tablet... Two ways of thinking, but no so far. Now, my Moleskine is empty-virgin, but tonight I'll start sketching!!!
I prefer sketching with classic paper-and-pencil. I love the sound of pencil scratching the paper. But inking... sometimes I make it in a digital medium (flash or illustrator) time is time, and here comes the wacom. And coloring.... Blessed Photoshop!

Superior use of vector manipulation! Your handling of composition/theme/style is very effective.
Thanks for the tip and the links!
This is cute-I bought a Moleskin in Seattle as a treat. And got a Wacom from my husband as a treat...Great minds Think alike! But I still do my best sketching on tracing paper. By the way, I like your "fresh" illo!
Thanks for your words!
The good old paper..will survive! at least while we've got trees....
You can have best of both worlds with Anoto technology!
There is no anoto moleskine for now, but the pen does capture your vector drawings, with the pressure you are using and the color you did select...

Whenever I am doing my traditional painting work and I make a mistake, my brain is like control-z control-z! To bad that doesn't work for daily life!

saludos!
i have the exact same moleskine, wacom tablet, pencil and spongebob! small world.
You can't buy molekines where we live. (There isn't even a bookstore!) A friend of my husbands sent him one. Now I've held and felt one I have to have one to work on my next show, and another to collect all the line drawings of my baby I've been working on over the last year. My little sketchbook somehow now lacks substance.
He wrote a post on diyplanner.com which you may get a kick out of.
Moleskine: A Love Affair? http://www.diyplanner.com/node/370
I'm not jealous, but when I asked him where it was he said it was in the company of his invisible friend.
all the best. (-:
can't wait to see the beautiful work you will do in it.
