please tell us why
You had to hide away

Where did we go wrong?"

A very bold illo, representing a dark red cemetery with a Choir of ghosts. No moon. No clouds.
New sketches from a film. Cos you want it...you get it!
It's a poster homage to Pedro Alvodovar's film "Talk to her"

Hello, this is my classic-ol'-time-vintage version of the week. A homage to the clasic UPA cartoons.
I reccommend you the fantastic and very inspirational Blog:Cartoon Modern
in his own words:"The official blog for CARTOON MODERN: STYLE AND DESIGN IN FIFTIES ANIMATION, a snazzy new coffeetable book from Chronicle Books that'll be out in June 2006." You can pre-order it (I'll do it!) in Amazon.

This is one of my submissions for this amazing project. The fantastic people of DRAWN!
A closer version of Ben Grimm, the cute Thing. This illo is for a thread in ARTBOX forum and shows some experiments with textures and caligraphic pens. It's globbering time!
This is my first try with my new and legendary Pentel Brushpen! What a tool, I absolutly fell in love with it. Last weekend was my birthday and this was the best present of all!

A few ultra-thin models. The ones that the clothes seem to float and to draw them is sooo boring ... No curves, no volume, no forms ... they throw fewer shades than a noodle. Roundness rules!
A classic in this blog. Catch the newspaper and draw every face you can. It's incredible how much you can learn with this exercise. I'll try to upload more sketches like these.
