El tema consiste en abrir el periódico y en 10 minutos dibujar todas las caras interesantes que encontréis. Suelen quedar unas páginas resultonas. Se aprende mucho, se calienta la mano, y siempre queda algún careto bueno para referencias posteriores.

The KING in his legendary come back'68. Jim Morrison (Elvis fan) was inspired by Elvis' black leather suit in this performance.

El REY, en su actuación legendaria del come back del 68 (lo recomiendo a todo aquel que no lo haya visto) Incluso Jim Morrison (gran fan de Elvis) se inspiró para su indumentaria en el traje de cuero negro que luce Elvis.(o eso dijo en alguna entrevista)

Cayuco Men

Cayuco is the word of this summer in Spain. It's about people who approach from Senegal up to Canaries.The Cayuco is their "ship".
Está claro cual ha sido la palabra del verano...Inspirado por las fotos de un reportaje de Luis de Vega sobre las gentes que se acercan desde Senegal hasta Canarias.

Cayuco:
Embarcación india de una pieza, más pequeña que la canoa, con el fondo plano y sin quilla, que se gobierna y mueve con el canalete.
Cayuco: Indian craft of a piece, smaller than the canoe, with the flat bottom(fund) and without keel, which is governed and moves by the paddle.

V FOR VENDETTA

One of my top ten comic-books of all the time. I remember the day when I bought the Spanish edition of the first number (I also caught the first number of Sienkiewicz's Shadow series) and during a long time I only had this one.
Years after, I bought a paperback with the first five numbers and things started fitting.
The time passed... and I obtained the numbers 8 and 9 in English... But the script was so complicated and my English was so bad, that I did not find out about anything....
And finally, very much later, I obtained a volume with the whole material and could enjoy it!
A jewel that everybody should read. I realized that I've never done a drawing about it, and nspired by this illustration in SEDYAS's blog, here goes this miniposter of V.

Uno de mis 10 comics favoritos de todos los tiempos. Me acuerdo cuando fui al kiosco a comprar el número 1 (que también me pillé el primer número de la Sombra de Sienkiewicz.)
Y durante mucho tiempo sólo tuve eso, un número. Un par de años después conseguí un tomo retapado con los 5 primeros números y las cosas empezaron a encajar.
En una tienda de segunda mano encontré los números 8 y 9 en inglés, y claro el guión era tan complicado y mi inglés tan malo, que no hubo manera de enterarme de nada.
Y por fin muchos años después conseguí un tomo (que sacó Norma) con todo el material y pude disfrutar de ello como es debido.
Vaya peregrinaje... (lo que hace ser un crío, vivir en los 80 y no tener acceso a nada...)
Una joya que nadie debería dejar escapar sin leer. Una obra maestra que siempre me ha encantado releer y de la que nunca había hecho un dibujo. Inspirado por esta ilustración en el blog de SEDYAS, aquí va este miniposter de V.
