Illustration Friday SMALL
This is my entry for Illustration Friday's challenge. Your comments are appreciated.
It's a radical simple-style illo. With classic Pink Panther's cartoons in mind. When you are a kid, a frozen look can make you feel like the smallest thing in the world...

So drunk...
This is my new entry for Eurovision Art Challenge, this time the topic is "Drunk".
I've not investigated very much this time...maybe some visits to the pub and a lot of looking back!
You can see the full-illo in the link.

The Stranger
More sketches from a film, this time, the classic Orson Welles' The Stranger (1946). With risky perspectives and impossible shots. Fantastic, as usual in Orson's films.

Illustration Friday STRENGTH
This is my entry for Illustration Friday's challenge. Your comments are appreciated.
I've done this powerful arm with traditional art decó- classic-Russian posters in mind, but the result is more like a punk image...
I think it looks like more powerful than strength. But if you can wait a minute, I'll post a new one.
(It's done! you can see it just below)

Illustration Friday STRENGTH II
One for the Zombie...
This is my first Attempt using some new watercolor brushes in Photoshop.
It's just a classic Zombie panel, with open graves, fog and some kind of cemetery background.
I've tried to get some "atmosfear" with a limited (and warm) color palette,
It's only a quick sketch... In a future: more and better!
Thanks to Zhuzhu for his fantastic preset brushes!

Cinema Paradiso
New sketches from a film.
This time, Cinema Paradiso (1989), written and directed by Giuseppe Tornatore.
The film won the Oscar and has fantastic sense of wonder.
A filmmaker recalls his childhood, when he fell in love with the movies at his village's theater (in Italy) and formed a deep friendship with the theater's projectionist.
Tornatore give us a story about life, friendship, and the magic of the movies.
Salvatore Cascio as little Toto, is intimate, and cute... and everlasting character. Ennio Morricone's music is absolutly subtle and fantastic.
These are some fast-sketched shots with very interesting compositions, the film is incredible as a whole, with no particular risk about strange shots or complex scenes, but this simplicity makes it better.
Salvatore: "Who said that? Gary Cooper? James Stewart? Henry Fonda? Eh?"
